There seems to be an issue with BalenaEtcher which causes it to fail while trying to open/read image files from the file system; The specific error might look like this :
While I don’t know the root cause, I’ve found out a fix which seems to work which is using the older release of Etcher, Specifically 1.19.21 seems to work flawlessly.
I had that issue happen to me multiple times while flashing Oreon 10 images into my USB drive so if anyone had the same issue here’s a fix that might work.
In the future, We might release and maintain our own image flashing utility which would work properly with Oreon images.
